When we use the Theory of Constraints thinking processes we call ideas or injections that we don't know how to implement “flying pigs“. These flying pig injections are usually entry points on future reality trees.
In order to make the idea usable (the entry point on the future reality tree something we know how to do) we “ground“ the flying pig. Which means we figure out how to implement the idea. Usually to do this we have to understand and then challenge our assumptions.
