Odyssey and what you learn from it
The Odyssey Program was initiated in 1984 by Dr. Eliyahu Goldratt. Eli did this in a quest to teach thinking skills to young adults. Initially, the Odyssey Program wasintended to share the world of Theory of Constraints (TOC) with family members and close friends. The Odyssey Program has developed to include a broad range of age groups, backgrounds, nationalities, and interests.
During the Odyssey Program, participants will learn how to apply the TOC Thinking Process Tools to systematically identify and overcome “constraints” to achieving a goal and or making a key decision in their life.
The Odyssey experience will expose participants to the TOC tool to help you find the answers to:
· What to do with the rest of my life?
· How to set and or achieve ambitious life goals?
· How to prevent mistakes or overcome obstacles in your life plans before they occur?
There is no time pressure during the Odyssey Program, so participants will have time to explore their chosen subjects.
The Odyssey Program further provides the opportunity to meet people from around the world and be exposed to alternate ways of thinking, helping you review your life and provide a new perspective on your choices. Many friendships from around the world have endured long after the Odyssey Program.
Odyssey Highlights:
· Overview of the TOC fundamental concepts,
· Applying the “Systems Approach” to find simple answers to seemingly complex situations
· Explore “traditional” vs. TOC paradigms to explore the possibility of a continual “win – win” in life
· Using TOC Five Focusing Steps to identify the leverage point in your life
· TOC Thinking Process Roadmap
· TOC Thinking Process Analysis will help you find the answers to these questions about your current position in life and achieve a very ambitious life goal:
o Why Change?
o What to Change?
o What to Change to?
o How to Cause the Change?
o How to achieve POOGI?
